RTR Accountant

What will your responsibilities be?
• Processing, execution and compliance of general accounting activities (Month End Closing, Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Review, Manual Journal Vouchers including Accruals and Prepayments)
• Preparing month end reports and performing balance sheet analytics
• Performing bank and ledger reconciliations
• Preparing monthly VAT reports
• Fixed assets management including additions and disposals
• Payroll accounting (salaries, social security and taxes)
• Executing internal controls over financial reporting and support audits
• Ensuring that daily operations are carried out according to set targets
• Identifying potential process improvements
• Participating in a transition project (travelling for 2-3 months learning and work shadowing on site may be required) – may be an option
What does our Client expect?
• >2 years of experience in accounting department (preferably in Shared Services environment)
• Experience in previous transition projects (nice to have)
• Fluent English / Other European languages will be a strong advantage
• Good interpersonal skills
• Customer focus
• Detail oriented and well-organized
• Accuracy and attention to details particularly with regard to bank and ledger reconciliation, accruals and prepayments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel)
• Knowledge of SAP (nice to have) or other ERP system
