Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Belgium.
Our client is a small company with 15-20 employees. They are based in the suburbs of Brussels in Belgium. It's an upcoming company with a lot of new projects going on. They are fast-growing and expanding on short term. They are active in the medical/pharma/biotech/health/R&D area.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for creating complex injectables. As a research scientist you will be active on the generic R&D department. You will collect scientific data trough fieldwork, set up experiments and conduct scientific investigations in controlled environments. Also you will record observations and be correlating data. You will prepare detailed research reports for publication and collaborate with your fellow research colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- carry out peer reviews of written publications and presentations to validate theories and inform research
- attend academic conferences across the world
- process and analyse results and data
- create and conduct experiments
- carry out field work to inform research
- communicatie results to the scientific community
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in sciences related field: Biotechnology, Fermentation, Microbiology, Research, Pharma, Biochemistry
- 4-5 years of industry experience
- Will to travel 6% of the time
- Being able to work alone both as in a team
