Role Description

• Act as a business partner for compliance to the global Homecare Division Research & Development(R&D) and Supply Chain (SC) stakeholders
• Control the regulatory process for current and future Homecare Division obligations (e.g. raw material, formulation, artwork, registration and impact assessment)
• Ensure related post & pre-lock(artwork) regulatory requirements are delivered and the tools/processes to manage them are fully understood by the Homecare Division
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and/or quality of existing processes and/or tools
• Share successes between regions and provide input for business cases for new or improved tools and processes
• Solves document delivery problems with IT systems (e.g. SAP EH&S), working methods and different processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure global consistency in the implementation or improvement of outsourced processes for Cluster Homecare clearance activities, in collaboration with the Global Product Compliance (GPC) Capability team
• Ensure global consistency in the implementation or improvement of automated processes for Cluster Homecare clearance activities, in collaboration with the GPC Automation team.
• Input and content governance for processes and tools
• Train and guide Cluster Product Compliance (CPC) members in specific expert judgements where the GPC Homecare team members have built global expertise (e.g. packaging, GHS Regulation, labelling, data searches, PLM).
• Develop training material for CPC’s in specific expert judgements where the GPC Homecare team members have built global expertise & Division specific automation tools (Predictive Classification); GHS classification, Safety Data Sheet (SDS), impact assessments, transport regulation)

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree (preferable in Chemistry) or equivalent degree
• Previous work experience within Regulatory Affairs (at least 2 years) would be required.
• Home & Personal care (HPC) formulations/specifications/ Product Claims would be an advantage
• IT skills (using spreadsheets and databases for analysis purposes, document management and design, dealing with high volume of data).
• Working Knowledge SAP/Interspec databases and Share Point is an advantage, but training will be given
• Working knowledge and/or some level of understanding of current legislations related to HPC and transport of dangerous goods (ADR)
• Attention to detail, ability to recognize is important aspects of the job to ensure compliance.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of people internal and externally with Raw Material Suppliers, our BPO partners and regulatory consultants.
