THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Agriculture and Chemicals organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.

Our client is a subsidiary of the Japanese company Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha and operates mainly in the chemical and crop protection business. The company is dedicated to R&D, registration and positioning of their products. From a strategic approach the main aim is to extend their market for current products and further develop new molecules to serve global business.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Regulatory Affairs team is primarily responsible for the approval of active substances at EU level under regulation 1107/2009. Additionally, the processing of applications to obtain, maintain and renew registrations for plant protection products in the EMEA region belong to their responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for one/or more active substances in one/or more countries within EMEA
- Obtain/ Maintain approval of active substances at EU level and formulated products at national level
- Project Management
- Communication with health authorities
- Keep up-to date of changing/new regulatory guidelines
- Strong collaboration with external stakeholders and other departments of the company (also abroad)

REQUIREMENTS

- Master degree in agriculture or sciences (biology or chemical)
- min. 3+ years' experience with regulatory processes (preferably in plant protection)
- Knowledge of environmental fate, toxicology or ecotoxicology is a plus
- Profound knowledge of regulatory guidelines
- Fluency in English and any other European language (German preferred)
