Regular Health and Safety Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES
- performing inspect processes and procedures and ensure good health and safety practice
- updating and creating new risk assessments
- investigating accidents and complaints and determining if there has been a breach of health and safety law
- coordinating occupational medicine (control and periodic examinations) and assessing exposure factors at workplaces
- investigating precautions taken to prevent industrial diseases
- keeping up to date with new legislation and health and safety standards
- providing training and educational support to employers and new or trainee employee, coordination periodic trainings
- providing specialist advice and information on health and safety to businesses and organizations and advising on changes required
- writing reports on results of inspections and investigations and completing detailed paperwork
- coordinating the organization and participate in quarterly health and safety committees
- developing health and safety working programs and policies
- preparing data and reports to external institutions such as Central Statistical Office and ZUS
- acting as a mentor for HSE Inspector(s)
- offering new HSE solutions for new circumstances
SKILLS
MUST
- 1+ years of experience in the field of Health and Safety
- bachelor's degree or equivalent (Health and Safety, Environmental or administration preferred)
- completion of studies enabling performance of the duties of occupational health and safety service
- practical knowledge of Polish labor law, health and safety regulations
- very good written and spoken English (B2)
- knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel; Power Point)
- experience with HS software (at last 1 year)
- very good communication skills
- excellent organizational and time management skills
