ROLE FOCUS:

The Regional HR Business Partner CEE will act as a business partner to the company across the region and will help manage a business with 140 employees in 18 countries. The role will be responsible for ensuring consistency of approach in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, talent development, training and HR Operations across the CEE. This role reports to the Managing Director for the region based in Poland with a very strong link to the HR EMEA Vice President based in the EMEA Headquarter. The Regional HR Senior Business Partner is responsible for ensuring an aligned HR plan with global and regional priorities. Working in a matrix structure with multiple stakeholders the Regional HR Director will work with the Regional team to execute on HR strategies and initiatives. This role has a high level of autonomy to operate in conjunction with the affiliates in the region. The describe role is new to the existing structure and independent position (without team management).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR Strategy, Leadership and Coordination:

Translate the EMEA strategic approach to human resources and the execution of these Strategies. Lead and support on a continuous change agenda advising on people decisions to drive effectiveness. Ensure that HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making. Work with functional HR teams in market to introduce appropriate human resource policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of employees throughout the organization. Provide advice, information and support to MD’s of the affiliates in the region, line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures in line with EMEA best practice. Focus on the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures. Prepare reports for management in relation to employee turnover; new hires; resignations; training and development etc.

Recruitment:

Ensure that the recruitment standards in the region are maintained at the highest practicable level and are professional and rigorous. Involvement in senior level resourcing including interviewing candidates and ensuring onboarding is completed. Support, communicate, train and advise the management team on recruitment initiatives and interviewing techniques. Stay abreast of market data for salaries to assist with salary planning and benchmarking for new roles in close relation with EMEA HR Coordinate recruitment with external suppliers (contingent workforce, search firms, job posting agencies, temporary staffing agencies etc.).

Talent Management & Retention:

Executes talent, retention and succession planning initiatives. Working with the regional and EMEA HR team on a talent management strategy and the annual talent review process. Support, communicate and advise senior management on their talent development initiatives.

Employee Relation:

Investigates employee relation matters, makes recommendations, and coordinates necessary action. Tracks performance and improvement in relation to human resource issues and provides standard reporting of progress. Assists leaders in managing onsite colleagues in accordance with client requests. Partners with leadership and advises on incident report investigations.

Legal and Compliance Practices:

Ensures up to date employment policy in line with local legislation and company policies are in place. Continual policy and process development, and amending and implementing policies and procedures in line with company benchmarks and employment law regulation. Conducts investigations and facilitates resolution involving issues. This includes formal investigations reported through the hotline as well as other investigations of a similar nature.

Project Management:

Participates in acquisition due diligence, onboarding, training, etc. Works with HR peers on projects, developing process, strategy, etc.

Skills & Experience:

Min 6- years’ experience in an HR capacity, preferably in multinational marketing/communications company. Degree in Human Resources Management or related field advantageous. Strong Regional experience across CEE. Up to date knowledge of HR policies, processes and tools across the region. Good verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with multinational network individuals. Proven experience of HR systems. Fluent / very good English language skills.
