Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
As subsidiary of a true Food Industry titan, this client is driven by technological advances and places the emphasis on the science of food. The company is international and has branches around the globe. The team is large and has years of expertise within food product development. Since the production is exported on a large scale, working efficiently and quickly is important.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role of Research & Development Project Manager, you are responsible for maintaining lines of communication with both your team of five and external partners. You manage suppliers, other third parties and thrive in a changing environment. Flexibility and adaptability are key. In order to build lasting relationships, both in and outside of the Netherlands, you must have communicative skills on top of technological knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing of national and international research projects
• Setting and honoring budgets and time schedules
• Inspiring the team
• Traveling will occur on the job
• Developing product strategies regarding dairy products
REQUIREMENTS
• Master of Science, in Food Technology or Food Science
• 5+ years of experience in Food Technology or Processing
• You've worked with dairy products before
• You've managed large projects successfully
• Must know Dutch, English, German is a strong plus
• Open personality, strong communication skills, willingness to travel and work in a team
