THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
This client is a Meat industry giant. They are constantly looking to expand their research team to maintain a ground-breaking level of development. Currently, they are looking for an R&D Manager with profound experience and a hands-on mentality. The flat structure of the company allows for personal growth and freedom.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As R&D Manager, you will communicate with parties outside of the company as well as the current Research and Development team. The flat structure of the company requires cooperative and communicative skills. Your main responsibility is improving the current meat products in all ways possible: for this, you get relative freedom but also bear your own responsibility. The role is literally hands-on, as it involves both administrative tasks and handling and researching meat products. It's a challenging role where you can use your creativity and technical skill.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Designing, developing and implementing processing applications which allow for upscaling
• Multi-tasking between R&D projects and maintaining oversight in all processes
• Delivering innovative specifications for both products and packaging, you contribute to the process from beginning to end
• Cooperating with multidisciplinary colleagues from operations, marketing, engineering and R&D
REQUIREMENTS
• Master of Science, preferably in Food Science or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Food Processing and/or Food Technology. The more the better
• A passion for Meat is important as you will be in contact with meat products every day
• Fluent Dutch and English
• Communicative personality, down-to-earth and no-nonsense
