THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Limburg Belgium.
This company produces food supplements and ingredients for the nutritional and sports market.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role is open for R&D professionals with a food technological or biochemical background. What matters is that you have a passion for food and the impact of food on the human body. Previous experience taught you how to juggle multiple projects at the same time and you keep a cool head even when things get difficult. Experience in multinational companies is preferred, so you know how to work with multidisciplinary teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Development of products on the ingredient/chemical level
• Monitoring lab trials
• Upscaling to factory settings
• Communicating your findings with Sales/Marketing
• Defending your ideas among peers
• Leading the projects following your ideas
• Balancing stakeholders to remain efficient
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Food technology or Biochemistry or similar, Master preferred
• 3+ years of experience in product development
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• Experience with dairy is a plus
• Fluent Dutch and English, German is a plus
• Communicative, structured and hands on
• Unafraid of defending your idea in a multidisciplinary setting
