Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
This client is a multinational in the bakery segment who is on the lookout for two new additions to their Research team. This position is for a young specialist in Fruit. Their values are ambition, teamwork, entrepreneurship and drive!
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You're an expert in fruit, meaning you support R&D in the development of different fruit fillings and preparations, you understand the biology of fibres and aroma. Together with a team and your research manager, you identify technologies in fruit applications, processing and analysis. Finally, you also help marketing translating this research into suggestions for the company's B2B clients. Building science leadership, you are ambitious and willing to make steps by sharing your knowledge. The sky is the limit in this multinational.
Besides the scientific part, there's a duality to your role: you inform your colleagues on the health aspects of fruit and its image and fruit contribution to a healthy lifestyle.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- building in depth knowledge on fruit fibre, color, aroma
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc or PhD in Biology / a Food related field
- Research experience in Fruit (hard must)
- Fluent English
- Willingness to live around Brussels
- Agile, creative, entrepreneurial, communicative personality
- Capable of explaining biology to laymen
- Able to work in a matrix organisation
