Quality Manager (Food Industry)
As a member of Group Technical management team, the new Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in company growth and development. He or she will be an active contributor to the management team - demonstrating the values and behaviours that make our company one to be proud of.

Our Client is a medium sized international branded food company with £160m turnover and around 650 employees with a successful track record over the last 10 years of both significant top line & profit growth. As an international branded flavour business our client will continue to grow across a number of markets in the world.
Description
- Manage and deliver product food safety, quality, and legality, ensuring that product is made to specification and is right first time acting as site champion for food safety and quality at all times.
- Manage TQM, GHP, HACCP, traceability, allergen risk management, food safety risk reduction programme
- Manage all customer, BRC and CLAS audits and ensure satisfactory results
- Manage and maintain a good relationship with key customers.
- Monitor and manage customer complaints for the site ensuring that the site targets are met or exceeded.
- Coordinate and manage the team to ensure workload is managed effectively and fairly.
- To work closely with the Technical Service Manager to ensure legality of products.
- To work closely with the Vendor Assurance and Raw Material central teams
- To support the site production, engineering, and hygiene teams to ensure site, new and existing equipment compliance with food safety and quality systems, and ensure site wide compliance with all customer and internal requirements.
- To ensure the Health and Safety of the immediate team
Profile
- Education: Food Technology or Biotechnology education - is a must
- min 4 years of experience in food industry manufacturing company
- min 4 years of experience as a team leader, managing directly a group of engineers as Quality Manager
- Familiarity with TQM, GHP, HACCP - is a must
- experience with Tesco, Aldi, Asda, Morrison - is an advantage
