Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Groningen Netherlands.
This is an international organization that has a main focus on seafood, and has different distribution sites all over Europe. It is a dynamic company that works mainly with fresh products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This international and informal company is looking for a QA Specialist that works on project base. Working as a QA specialist means ensuring that all matters for the conservation of EU legal authorization for fish processing and food safety standards IFS, BRC and ISO / FSSC 22000 are properly regulated.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You as a QA Specialist will not only be responsible for the above tasks but also you will be in charge of the following points:
- Responsible for various Chain of Custody standards such as Bio, GLOBAL G.A.P. And ASC / MSC and customer-specific standards
- Keep internal inspections and audits, implement corrective measures and provide the necessary documentation
- Supervise (customer) audits
- Do your external supplier audits and guide your internal quality projects
- You will report to the QA director
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc in Food Science (Pré), Nutrition and Health or Animal Sciences (knowledge of quality issues)
- >3 years of experience regarding the food industry
- Fluent in Dutch, English and German
- Willing/ able to travel for 30% a week
