THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Henegouwen Belgium.
The company is a large manufacturer of premium pastry products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QA Manager, you are responsible for all quality and food safety related issues within the site. This is a broad role which includes managing the quality system, audits, complaint handling, continuous improvement and internally promoting quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the Quality System, based on BRC and IFS.
- Manage a team of 5 people.
- Preparing and successfully completing external audits.
- Doing inspection rounds in the production area.
- Handle and follow-up customer complaints.
- Give trainings to staff members.
- Inform the Board of structural problems and suggest areas of improvement and investment.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc. Industrial Engineering Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biosciences, M.Sc. Bio-Engineering, or a similar degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with HACCP, BRC and IFS.
- Experience with managing teams is an asset.
- Working proficiency in French, Dutch and English is a must.
