Role Description

Do you want to have a key role in creating and realizing a zero defects culture? As Quality Assurance (QA) Manager Pharma at Corbion we are interested in how you answer questions like: How do you engage a whole organization to think quality? How do you deal with very diverse and changing regulations on a production site? What means continuous improvement in a quality organization?

Responsibilities

In this new position you will work for the location in Gorinchem where we have our largest lactic acid derivative facility. This location services all of our non-Bakery food market units and our Biochemicals Unit. Additionally on this site is our Biomaterials plant. Gorinchem also accommodates the Corbion Central R&D and Innovation Centre. As our new QA Manager Pharma you report to the Manager QA / QC within our Operations Team. As our QA Manager Pharma you are mainly responsible for typical and non-typical quality matters of the Corbion plant, where we have 150+ employees

Furthermore we need you to:
- Act as a key interface between the plant and the different business functionalities of Corbion
- Get your plans in motion through intuitive and diplomatic approach of relations
- Train and coach the shop floor in the related field
- Help promote a strong team spirit: "we do it together"

Requirements

In addition to your educational achievements on a Bachelor level, as the successful candidate for the position of QA Manager Pharma you must also have: - At least 5 years of experience of quality in a pharma environment
- Wide knowledge about GMP, GDP and ISO 9001
- Experience in equipment and process validation
- Verbal and written fluency in Dutch and English language
