Quality Assurance Lead
Location: WarszawaDiebold Nixdorf BPO Sp. z o. o. is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead in our EMEA Business Services Center in Warsaw.
The Quality Assurance team owns the controls and compliance framework for EMEA Business Services, a captive shared services center supporting Diebold Nixdorf units throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa with accounting and order management services. The function reports to the Center Lead.
The QA Lead will support all processes within the center and will develop the controls framework and ensure appropriate testing of all relevant controls.
The main tasks in this role will be:
- Ownership of the controls and compliance program framework
- Be the main contact for controls and compliance activities in the center
- Support the implementation of controls during migration of activities to the center
- Design, oversee and carry out standard monthly testing of all relevant controls in cooperation with SOX Owners as well as Process Managers
- Identify and document issues’ causes and compile quality analysis and performance data
- Compile and present a monthly report to the management
- Coordinate the issues management process, including registering and status tracking
- Create and maintain the documentation for the processes relevant for the Controls and Compliance teams
- Interact with Process Managers and Process Owners to identify and implement quality improvement opportunities
- Coordinate Audit requests and activities and act as the center’s primary contact for internal and external auditors
Requirements to successfully fill this role are a university degree, preferably with a focus on business and accounting as well as relevant (more than 3 years) experience in the operation of record to report process or in an audit firm. Having acquired this experience in one of the Big 4 global audit companies and/or being certified as CIA/ACCA would be an advantage.
Excellent Excel skills and good knowledge of the other components of MS Office as well as experience in producing high quality documentation against challenging timelines are further requirements. Very good communication and presentation skills are necessary to interact and manage the relations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
The main working language is English which has to be fully mastered; good knowledge of any other major working language of our center (i. e. French, German, Spanish, Russian) would be an advantage.
