THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is one of the larger firms in the food ingredients sector, which are used in a wide variety of applications.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QESH Manager, you are responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and safety on the site. You will lead a small and junior QESH team and develop their capabilities. You will report to the General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and improve the quality management system.
- Conducting internal and external audits and inspection rounds.
- Initiating and conducting continuous improvement plans.
- Handling customer queries and complaints.
- Managing deviations and making decisions on blocked products.
- Anticipating trends in QHSE-related legislation.
- Giving trainings to staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance within the food industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, IFS and RiskPlaza.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
