QA Test Engineer

The central IT Architecture & Strategy function of bank is operating a set of bank-wide in-house developed, and vendor tools that support enterprise data architecture (design, investment, & delivery). We are looking for a functional tester to help define and deliver the quality assurance for our toolset.
QA team currently have 2 team member -2 position opened
Whole EDT team is build with subteams: QA, DEV, BA, PM, MGMT , SUPPORT, ARCHITECTS (around 40 people)
UK, CH, US, Warsaw, Wroclaw
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the project team to test changes to our Enterprise Data Toolkit. This includes data governance (Collibra) and Data Quality management (Informatica Data Quality and HP ALM) tooling.
- Participate in the definition of a testing strategy and execute it.
- Responsible for performing functional, regression and non-functionality testing across Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing
- Set up testing in the appropriate testing tools (HP ALM).
- Opportunity to work in Data Architecture to meet key regulatory objectives and work on initiatives that transform the firm's data landscape.
- Help deliver any test automation.
- Work with the project team to continuously improve the overall quality of the delivery.
SKILLS
MUST
- You have a minimum 2 years of total IT experience working within testing in a medium to large enterprise.
- You performed functional and non functional test and document the results
- Experience of SQL in an Oracle environment
- You have experience in software development lifecycle (GIT knowledge)
- You understand workflows and have basic familiarity with (Flowable/Apian).
- You are familiar with best development practices
- You have at least basic development skills
- You are fluent written and spoken English
NICE TO HAVE
- You have experience of data driven applications or a background in metadata.
- Hands-on experience with Collibra (or other Data Governance tool) or Data Quality tools would be beneficial.
- You hold a BS degree ideally with focus on Information Technology or related.
- You have excellent experience of testing tools such as HP ALM.
