The company is one of the largest firms in the food & beverages industry and produces several household brands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QA Manager, you will lead a large department consisting of QA Technologists and QC Laboratory Analysts, as well as R&D Project Leaders. You will keep an overview of the workload and allocate resources to projects, setting priorities in cooperation with other departments. For this role, we are looking for a people manager who has experience with leading (larger) teams, as the team already has a high level of technical expertise.
This is a temporary assignment for 4 months for 3-4 days per week, start date as soon as possible. Extension until the end of the year is a possibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a multidisciplinary department of 15 people.
- Project management: allocate resources to (innovation) projects and set priorities accordingly.
- Follow up on audit results and initiate continuous improvement plans.
- Follow up on product deviations and customer complaints.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Food Quality Management, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 8 years of experience with Quality Assurance in a production setting in the food industry.
- At least 5 years of experience with managing teams, preferably teams larger than 10 people.
- Experience as Production Manager and/or R&D is an asset.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or FSSC 22000 is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
