THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Limburg Netherlands.
The company is specialized in healthy convenience food. This is a mid-sized company in which you will report directly to the CEO.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for product quality and the Quality Department. He or she will also participate in continuous improvement projects and use LEAN to improve products and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Quality Department (2 direct reports).
- Ensure good product quality compliant with quality management systems and food legislation.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
REQUIREMENTS
- HBO Food Technology or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance within the Food industry.
- Experience with LEAN and other continuous improvement methods.
- Experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC and IFS.
