For a global leader in manufacturing materials and control systems for industry, I am looking for an individual to join the international Quality Assurance Automation team.
Description
- Testing internal software produced by the development team and some 3rd party software purchased by the company.
- Developing and documenting a comprehensive library of test scripts for applications.
- Automating the above tests as much as possible to avoid the need for manually repeating regression tests.
- Working within a global IT team with colleagues from UK, Germany, India, China and more, with the possibility of traveling to these sites.
- Learning the latest technology in QA, Automation and RPA to help deliver the best quality software to the business.
- Investigating new techniques to help streamline the QA process and provide a better product to the business.
- Performing both functional and non-functional testing.
- Contributing to all testing phases, including system, and UAT, working directly with end users.
Profile
- A good level of understanding of IT both from a technical and application stand point.
- More than 3 years experience in QA or a similar role.
- ISTQB foundation certification or equivalent.
- 2 years experience using automation testing tools.
- Experience of testing Web APIs/Webservices.
- Experience of performance testing applications.
- Experience testing a variety of platforms (Web, Mobile and Desktop)
- Experience manual testing skills, including writing tests from requirements/specifications.
- Good communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
