Your new role
This Management role will be responsible for managing purchasing department and developing purchasing strategy, including preparing, implementing and controlling procedures and other quality documentation. You will provide leadership and practical expertise within the company’s procurement team where your priorities will include ensuring correct and on-time deliveries of raw materials, components and services at optimised costs.
It will be your responsibility to develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, look for new sources of supply, evaluate and recommend suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
We need an experienced purchasing manager, that has proven experience with the purchasing of materials and components, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You have to be an inspiring leader of the team, and be able to foster working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Alongside this you need to demonstrate professional and engaging communications skills and knowledge of negotiation techniques. English is a must.
