For our Client, an international Company, we are looking for a VAT Compliance Team Leader in the SCC supporting Group Companies across Europe. Interested? Some more details:
Responsibilities:
• Performing and supervising tasks related to services provided in area of liabilities, payments, AP reporting and employee settlements for more than a dozen companies across Europe,
• Preparing reports and analyses following both needs of internal (SSC) and external clients,
• Controlling over correctness of financial transactions evidence,
• Improving accounting processes with a focus on increase in the quality of financial and accounting processes, efficiency and the level of customer’s satisfaction.
• Managing, motivating and dedicating substantive support to 10+ team of accountants,
• Taking care for increased competence and skills of subordinate employees,
• Effectively delegating of tasks and responsibilities within the team,
• Building and maintaining positive business relationships with internal/external clients.
Requirements:
• Higher education (economic profile),
• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting and finance departments,
• Minimum 1-year experience in managing a team of accountants (or proven abilities in this direction),
• Demonstrated ability to motivate a team and individual team members to achieve stated/ designated goals,
• Ability to make independent decisions,
• Very good English skills (min. B2 level) - knowledge of another language would be an advantage,
• Outstanding communication skills,
• Experience gained within an SSC structures will be a big advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel) and SAP or other ERP class program.
