Our company is currently seeking a

Project Scheduler

to join our expanding team.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prepares the overall project planning by collecting and discussing information from the key players such as project manager, construction manager and superintendents, project engineers, design managers, permit managers, procurement officers
  • Prepares short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members
  • Coordinates the detailed construction planning and scheduling systems, work processes, and reports needed to support the construction management efforts of the project.
  • Provides functional support of related project controls activities including project baseline schedules, critical path analysis, manpower planning and forecasting, progress validation, earned value assessment, performance measurement. Ensures project planning and scheduling deliverables are accurate and delivered to the Project Manager and Construction Manager in a timely fashion
  • Monitors and analyzes project progress and effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools. Gathers actual data, updates project schedule and develops reliable schedule forecast with support from project team, recommends and implements modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant contracts, all amendments to these contracts and all change orders issued for the project
  • Educates project team members in planning/scheduling related methods to ensure project continuity and completeness; support the usage of the PWA, in the capacity of key user, training; makes suggestions for improving PWS application and performs PWS audits
  • Oversees schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results; evaluates and analyzes with team risks and issues compromising project results and supports in developing plans to mitigate them

Expectations towards the applicant:

  • Degree in Engineering (Technical/Chemical/Petroleum or equivalent)
  • Understand project background and lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player
  • Min. 5 years relevant experiences in contractor environment, preferably in Energy, Oil & Gas Industry
  • Technically strong in project planning, scheduling and reporting
  • Make decisions under pressure
  • Have a holistic project view
  • Advanced knowledge MS office products (Excel, Project, Word etc.)
