Reports to: Head of IT – Poland. Responsible day-to-day to the UK Loyalty Programme Manager for successful project delivery.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business to understand requirements, define the project and create/agree the PID. Support the reiteration/refinement of the original business case if required.
- Produce and agree a detailed plan for delivery of the project. Create core project artefacts (e.g. RAID log). Maintain those artefacts up-to-date on a weekly basis.
- Consult with the UK Chief Architect to ensure initial and ongoing alignment of the technical design.
- Work closely with Whitbread Procurement to ensure existing 3rd party contracts support the delivery of the project, or are amended to do so.
- Manage the procurement and installation of QR code readers into stores and associated changes to the till software.
- Manage the extension of the Store Locator to include Poland stores.
- Manage the design, build, test and launch of a Polish Loyalty mobile app.
- Liaise with Service Transition to ensure the Poland solution is formally defined as a service and that appropriate 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th line support routes and processes are in place.
- Liaise with the Poland and UK business as required.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to agree the migration plan (including Finance and Marketing) and the overall project delivery plan.
- Liaise with the Middleware Team to ensure middleware changes are delivered via WhishWorks in line with the plan.
- Ensure security assessment questionnaires are completed for any new 3rd party suppliers. Manage the planning/delivery of a penetration test and ensure plans are put in place to address any critical/high issues found. Liaise with IT Security as required.
- Liaise with all third parties to ensure detailed delivery plans and commercial coverage is in place, and that all third parties deliver in-line with those commitments, including, but not necessarily limited to: Comarch (target loyalty platform provider); Givex (incumbent/legacy loyalty platform provider); Retail Assist and WhishWorks (design/management of ETL process); iCore (environment and change management); Qualitest and PlanIT (testing services).
- Secure CAB approval for implementation and manage that implementation and subsequent migration.
- Comply with and participate in IS programme governance, including: represent the project at Ops Governance and Project Review Board; hold weekly project management meetings; submit status reports weekly to the Loyalty Programme Manager; attend formal weekly Loyalty Programme Management Meetings.
- Manage the project budget, including: validate actuals; process purchase orders; process receipts/accruals; reforecasting on a monthly basis.
- 5-10 years project management experience, ideally gained within a retail context.
- Experience of running digital projects
- Experience of data migration projects.
- Commercial acumen and experience of working with a number of third parties including offshore providers.
- Demonstrable experience of managing multiple business stakeholders.
- Experience of managing project budgets up to PLN2.5m (GBP500k).
