Project Manager

The GCIO Service Design and Programme Execution (SDPE) function is looking for a Contract Project Manager in Warsaw to join the global Programme team. The central Programme function is aligned with the IT Strategy and Archtiecture (IT S&A) group within Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) and is called the Service Design and Programme Execution (SDPE) team.

Its remit is to provide "Infrastructure Project Management capabilities across GCIO infrastructure, with extensive knowledge of the organization and domain expertise aligned to critical programs. These capabilities are delivered across departmental projects, on behalf of departments who may not have delivery capability or require burst capacity". As part of this this contract the selected candidate will work on a Services and Capabilities Onboarding Program leading global Agile teams (20+ people) delivering the services and capabilities implementations on the ServiceNow platform.

The role will report into the Head of Program Execution Warsaw regionally and into the SCO Program Manager in New York on a day to day basis.

The new team member will be a part of the global project managers team of 15+ individuals allocated to projects or programs within different IT areas based on demand, seniority, and areas of experience.

As part of this this contract the selected candidate will work on a Services and Capabilities Onboarding Program leading global Agile delivery teams on the ServiceNow platform. Whereas the SCO program involves 50+ stakeholders directly contributing to the program and the impacted stakeholders are all employees.

• Providing Project Management expertise for the Service Delivery part of the Services Capability and Onboarding (SCO) program
• Manage the program delivery roadmap and leading the Agile teams with a direct control to deliver the Jira backlog specified by the program
• Maintain close relationship with an external vendor providing engineering resources / delivery
• Reconcile monthly delivery by Story Points with vendor
• Deliver ServiceNow solutions with external integration (where appropriate) to be used by clients to implement their new services as per the defined Service Catalogue
• Partner with ServiceNow, Service Line and enterprise Strategy & Architecture Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to ensure technical solutions are approved in the correct governance forums utilizing the most appropriate frameworks
• Ensure every release has formal SIT, regression, UAT & end to end API testing sign-off completed on time
• Coordinate and execute ServiceNow releases to promote solutions to production
• Report JIRA delivery progress and measures of delivery velocity
• Proactively resolve development and delivery risks, issues, dependencies and challenges
• The basic tasks expected of the Project Manager are to be skilled in multiple Project Lifecycles (Waterfall/Agile), adhering to project governance in line with best practices and company defined standards utilizing the most appropriate delivery methodology to get the job done

• Certified and proficient Project Manager with min. 5 years of experience
• Global experience of delivering complex projects with a defined governance model in large scale environments
• Agile and DevOps theoretical understanding, reinforced with extensive practical knowledge and experience
• Basic understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networks, database, architecture concepts) and working at scale in services centric organizations
• Experienced in Jira / Confluence reporting
• Excellent communication skills
• Great stakeholder management skills with the cross-cultural sensitivity
• Self-starter with a can do attitude who can get things done with limited supervision
• Able to work flexibly and globally across time zones as necessary to drive the delivery against tight deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a global team and to aggressive (but realistic) deadlines

• Project Management experience gained in financial institutions
• Tableau reporting knowledge is also preferred
• ServiceNow implementation experience
• IT Service Management understanding and ITIL foundation certification
• Scrum certification
