Our client is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development of innovative cancer immunotherapies with a goal of providing rapid, long-term durable response and eliminating the burden of chronic care. The company is focused on chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and T cell receptor (TCR) engineered cell therapies designed to empower the immune system's ability to recognize and kill tumors.
Role Description
You will be part of the Business Strategy & Operations department of their site in Hoofddorp. Delivering strategic projects will help shape the organization going forward by using your personal experience and motivation. Your primary tasks in this role will be to manage a large strategic project at our site through stage gate reviews and complete milestones on schedule.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the project execution at the site level
• Closely liaise with local SME’s and workstream leads who focus on the technical content
• Typically ensure alignment of local execution with a global project team and stakeholders
• Apply standard PM practices in place within Kite such as Gantt charts, action and decision logs, RACIs, risk registers, meeting agendas and minutes and processes
• Provide PMO support for your own project
• Support change management and continuous improvement efforts across projects and site initiatives, identifying and addressing gaps and opportunities
• Be a champion for the site’s project governance and coach/ help colleagues as needed

Requirements
• Master’s or Bachelor degree in Sciences with +5 years of Project Management experience
• At least 3 years of experience in the life sciences sector (biotech/pharma/devices)
• Understanding of manufacturing tech transfer, commissioning, qualification and process validation
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Microsoft Project or an equivalent project management tool is required
• Must have experience with leading projects within production or construction. Ideally experienced leading a project to build cleanrooms
