Mission Statement

Project Manager is responsible for execution of large projects with strategic importance to company. This includes the efficient coordination of resources cross services, the responsibility for the planning and implementing changes in accordance with Application Operations Release processes to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The project manager is also responsible for transitioning project outcome into stable and sustainable operations.

• Manage projects

• Facilitate the collection of new business requirements in a structured way;

• Ensure requirements are analyzed, estimated and agreed between requestor and supplier, e.g. the supplying service, sourcing partner or development team;

• Assign a priority and a category to the change after assessing its urgency and its impact on the application service or end users. This assignment affects the speed at which the change will be addressed and the route it takes for authorization;

• Ensure that business case for a change is in place before requesting approval from the governing organization;

• Plan the deployment of the changes, a process that can vary immensely in scope and includes reviews at key interim milestones;

• Work with development leads/ architects or when applicable lead the development team, trough the design, development and test phases;

• Work with Operations management during production migration, assisting projects in getting into operations;

• Work with Service Level Manager/s to ensure adequate staffing and resource availability for the project;

• Prepare and document use cases;

• Ensure application integration testing is performed, coordinate test resources needed;

• Report to Steering Committee;

• Lead reference team meetings and manage stakeholder expectations;

• Communication to stakeholders, including news, announcements and project metrics reporting.

Requirements:

• Master degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience;

• Min. 3 years on Project Manager position;

• Strong project management skills, preferably certified project manager;

• Good working knowledge of infrastructure and application architecture;

• Experience in problem solving and crisis management concepts;

• Knowledge on application development processes, thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL) being a plus;

• PMP or Prince certification is a plus;

• Ability to promote a team environment;

• Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills;
