For one of our clients, an international company in the production area, we are looking for people for the position:
Project Manager
• Responsible for overseeing a series of projects from cradle to grave ensuring project margin is maximised for full costs recognition and project margin so that client expectations are met.
• Produce project plan defining deadlines and critical dates to ensure projects are on time and monitor progress against defined schedules.
• Responsible for the purchasing of all raw materials on a project by project basis. (additional support given as required through purchase administration)
• Review and evaluate new and old suppliers for work quality and identify weaknesses where they exist and act accordingly on your findings
• Responsible for coordination of supplier and customer delivery schedules
• Advise specifically on suitable processes to meet the budget and ensure all departments of the project team are fully briefed
• Provide technical solutions and feedback to engineers to help to meet the client’s needs and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Provide feedback to client and sales team of project progress.
• Ensure unavoidable delays are advised to client to increase proactive communication (whether caused by client or in house problems)
• Ensure that the quality of work produced meets the expectation of the client and this organisation, by ensuring that all project requirements and specifications internal and external have been met.
• Ensure site surveys are carried out (where necessary) and coordinate the installation phase of retail furniture delivery

Requirements:
• Education: higher – management / project management or similar prefered
• Driving licence cat. B
• Previous experience of working with similar materials (plastic, wood, metal);
• Previous experience in POS industry
• Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills/abilities
• Experience/knowledge in plastic industry
• English language in writing and speech on levels at least:
• C1 – Upper-Intermediate
• Process knowledge in injection moulding, metal fabrication and joinery
