Project Manager (Trasition Manager)
Location: Warszawa
We are looking for a person that will lead the Service Transition Project which is part of the program for one of the largest pension companies. The project team of 10 engaged colleagues is located in two different locations, and cooperation with operations partner in Hungary / Romania will take place.
You will be responsible for:
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects in parallel to ensure the overall service transition project is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
• Work on the complex project transitioning from project to managed service mode, including management of nearshore and partner delivery teams
• Own the full project life cycle: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
• Build the strategic relationships appropriately via the client management functions and at a senior management level
• Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders and sponsors
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO, and key stakeholders
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
• Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
• Manage, prioritize and coordinate the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
• The role is predominantly internally focused but will require an in-depth understanding of the client requirements
We are looking for you if You:
• Have at least 5+ years of project management experience
• Have experience with Service Transition from project mode to managed service mode
• Have already worked in multicultural organizations
• Have the ability to build strong relationships through effective stakeholder management and resource mentoring
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills, which allow you to communicate with customers, colleagues, and managers
• Have the ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements
• Can manage several complex deliverables simultaneously
• Have the courage and grit to express opinions, give fresh perspectives and achieve results
• Are open-minded, true listener with the natural curiosity
• Have a commercial and cost mindset
• Have a positive “can-do” attitude and quality-oriented mindset
• Can learn quickly
• Are a team player, but also able to work independently
• Are fluent in both English and Polish
