ROLE DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a Project Manager, experienced in the management and delivery of medium to large sized complex projects within Supply Chain/Operational Excellence/Planning. The candidate will be managing a project with multiple work streams that have the goal to implement a Demand Driven Supply Chain and an Integrated Business Planning process.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of successful project management and delivery in a Supply Chain environment, preferable within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Additionally the candidate must have knowledge and experience with Value Stream Mapping, Demand Planning and S&OP or Integrated Business Planning. The role requires high motivation, excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast moving environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Delivery of key projects milestones within an agreed timeframe and scope
- Responsible for working with resource managers to identify the appropriate project resources needed, assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, and developing a detailed plan to ensure timely completion of project
- Development and execution of status reports and an issue management approach
- Establish appropriate governance and stakeholder involvement approaches for the project to ensure consistent and effective communication as well as issue resolution.
- Interface with all areas affected by the project including project stakeholders, governance boards, subject matter experts, end users and other project teams working across the corporate network
- Focus on efficiency and effectiveness, especially as it relates to work intake, prioritization, decision making and resource allocation
- Coordination and reporting of applicable project level metrics up to the project sponsor
- Leading the project team, clearly demonstrating the ability to positively influence others

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Science or Economics)
- 6+ years’ experience as Project manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Highly skilled in MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint.
- MS Visio experience preferable.
- Project management certification (PMP, IPMA , Prince 2 Practitioner) preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, including ability to execute and prioritize a number of tasks simultaneously, and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in developing and executing project plans, utilizing a project management methodology and project planning and reporting tools
- Results oriented and analytical
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action
