For our client, an international manufacturing company, we are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join an expanding Manufacturing Facility based in Opole.
The hired employee will have a chance to work globally with direct contact to company HQ's IT department abroad as well as to co-operate with other structures locally within corporation. The Infrastructure Project Manager will also manage, design and support the implementation of key initiatives as a PM to help enable business objectives.
Description
- Manage daily work based on projects, current high-priority support issues and special requests. Coordinate the System program and address staff scheduling needs on an as-needed basis;
- Perform Project Management and negotiate resource allocation for the projects in the plant;
- Work with other business units to identify and implement new processes and technological solutions that will enhance the business and provide efficiency to users;
- Provide PC/Network/Telecom/ VoIP/Wireless device support including problem reporting and resolution;
- Coordination of the equipment purchase program, approve invoices and process billing;
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and present major initiatives to the Project Review meetings as requested;
- Assist the System Administration team with management of Windows Terminal Services, Enterprise Encryption, Microsoft Exchange, Antivirus server, Symantec BackupExec for all end-user systems, SCCM 2007, and other enterprise server platforms as needed;
- Develop the know how to administer and maintain the system imaging and configuration processes for current laptop, desktop, and thin client models in use;
- Develop project plans and manage project time lines, tasks, resources and budget;
- Resolve project issues to minimize impact to schedule or budget;
- Lead and manage cross functional project team in delivering projects.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and cross-functional project teams to deliver integration and solutions.
Profile
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in project management
- Previous experience in Manufacturing environment a strong plus
- Background in IT infrastructure such as network, telecom, server management, client support is highly desired.
- Expert knowledge of modern computer hardware, wired and wireless networking, IP phones, printers and peripheral computer equipment required.
- Expert knowledge of Windows 7 desktop and server operating systems required.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining laptops, desktops, and thin clients in a network environment required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools is desired, such as Word, Excel, Access & Outlook.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills required.
- Results oriented, can-do attitude, enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
