Description
We are member of French ALTEN Group present in 25 countries around the world and employing over 34,000 engineers and IT specialists. Since 1988 we deliver advanced IT systems for well-known brands, develop medicine and the renewable energy industry. ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for Project Manager – Civil Engineer who will join our team.
Main tasks
- Develop and document standard civil engineering, construction and build practices to be imposed on subcontractor that are aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Act as a senior technical resource for department or cross functional activities related to civil engineering
- Provide civil engineering support and direction for Rollout Manager and project Field Engineering staff engineers as well as subcontractors
- Participate as necessary in tendering, documentation and award of construction work for telecom site build projects
- Manage civil, electrical and mechanical engineering activities for expansion or modification of existing telecom sites
- Review/approve subcontractor design submissions for compliance to scope, applicable standards, codes and project specs
Requirements
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer is preferred
- Requires expert knowledge and minimum 5 years of experience in structural analysis and cellular antenna system designs for rooftops and tower installations both new and existing or overlay telecom sites
- Wireless telecommunications experience preferred
- In depth knowledge and interpretation of design drawings and dealing with Architectural and Engineering subcontractors
- Experience in planning, engineering and new construction or expansion of telecommunications structures, buildings, systems and wireless networks
- Working knowledge of telecom and construction industry codes and standards
