Project Management Officer – new established SSC
Miejsce pracy: PoznańFor our Client, new established Shared Service Center in Poznań, we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Project Management Officer
Key responsibilities:
- Advise and support the project manager and the executives of a new Shared service centre (SSC) for Finance and Controlling of a globally leading German manufacturer of premium household appliances with about 250 employees in project management related activities today and in the future
- Support ramping-up the new SSC organization to its full size by taking a central role in planning, coordinating and managing the successful intake of decentralized finance and controlling processes of our internal clients
- Ensure that the service organization becomes an accepted, highly regarded and efficient working part in the group.
- Provide guidance in regard to project planning and project related time scheduling
- Conduct continuous project controlling and reporting including the task of proactive resource and budget management
- Secure sound planning, forecasting, reporting and adequate risk management for today’s and future project operations
- Perform quality checking and management for project deliverables and targets
- Manage and support in internal and external project communication including defining, creating and implementing communication measures for key stakeholders within and outside of the project
- Detect needs for training and drive change management initiatives
- Provide administrative support including organizing, preparing and follow-up of project related appointments and meetings
- Organize meetings and business trips
- Become key contact partner in alignment with PM and SSC executives for any project-related issues and queries and handle ad-hoc requests
Requirements:
- University degree in business studies with a focus on Finance and Controlling, and or Management
- Experience in project management including a PMO role in projects related to shared service organizations
- 2 - 3 years experience in a shared service organization environment and experience in the ramp-up of a growing service organization is a plus
- Very good knowledge in handling MS Office applications, especially MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong service and result orientation, reliability and high operational readiness and resilience. Ability to work in teams.
- Discretion and loyalty, sensitivity and distinctive social skills
- Very good communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Fluent in Polish and English, German is a plus
- Willingness for moderate travel activities
