Role Description

PC&D has strong Programs to achieve Cost Optimizations by DFX, improve Quality by continuous Product improvements, Drive Supply chain optimizations and grow sales by Small commercial introductions.
We always ensure compliance to latest regulations and put Safety of our consumers first, without compromising continuity of Sales.
In the role of LCM Project Manager, you will handle a number of small and medium initiatives in parallel in a hands-on manner in close cooperation with InD, Consumer Marketing Management, Supply chain and Production Sites. Together with your Program Sponsor, you will manage not only individual projects but also the Program as a whole within the boundaries of your Charter.
You will see a great diversity of activities, varying from By-packs, Materials and finishing projects, Safety Incidents, New supplier releases, etc. in the domain of Senseo and Drip filter machines.

The team:
As a Project Leader LCM you will manage changes to the existing product portfolio (Life Cycle Management) and cooperate closely with a small InD team, Supply chain and Consumer Marketing management. You will report your projects and initiatives in the Change Control Board to ensure adherence to our InD and project management processes.

Responsibilities

Is responsible for formulating the (sub) project plan, in consultation with management and other parties concerned on base of the requirements
• Is responsible to organize the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), helps the team to organize and specifies the quality standard in the processes
• Identifies the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etcetera) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closure
• Coaches and directs project team members and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally, including agile software development when applicable (where necessary, directs sub-Is responsible and facilitates for implementation and realization and release (if applicable) by the project team according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organization
• Represents the (sub)-project team in the overall project to optimize fit for use and overall effectiveness
• Gathers and integrates project performance and progress information. Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project members
• Ensures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge
• Reports on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal
• Ensures requirements and business case are defined, completed and approved
• Builds and maintains the project organization, helps the team to organize, chooses or coaches on the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external Philips
• Is responsible for quality initiatives to ensure quality deliverables of subsystems delivered
• Deploys process improvements, supports continuous improvement of teams and makes the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes and compliance to corporate policies/rules/procedures
• Manages internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

- As described in the attached Job profile Project management, Project Leader-B
- A minimum of 5 year experience in product development
- Having a technical background, preferably with mass manufactured consumer products is a must have
