Your new role
As Project Leader at the (PE) Production Engineering department you are responsible for Process development projects and Process improvements. For Process development projects (the realization of new production equipment) we work with a machine building company. For Process Improvement you will be in charge of optimizing the series production processes.
PROCESS DEVELOPMENT:
• You will lead a multi-disciplinary department team; Process Engineer, Software Engineer, Design Engineer.
• You, together with the team, will specify, develop and design new or modify existing production processes; Establish process specifications/requirements, evaluate and discuss quotations of machine suppliers, monitor development/design and assembly together with machine supplier, coordinate commissioning of the new production equipment and manage the ramp-up.
• You will work together in a companywide APQP team with departments; Projects, Quality, Turbo Engineering, etc.
• You ensure to achieve the project goals and deliverables.
• You keep a close eye on timeline, budget, resources and potential risks.
• You will report to Team leader and Department manager.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
• You will lead a multi-disciplinary department team; Process Engineer, Software Engineer, Design Engineer.
• You, together with the team, will investigate and identify the improvement potential of the series production processes.
• You will drive these improvements to a success.
• You keep a close eye on timeline, budget, resources and potential risks.
• You will report to Team leader and Department manager.
What you'll need to succeed
• At least a Bachelor degree in a technical field
• At least 3 years of experience within a project management, production or machine building environment (Automotive is a plus)
• You have excellent Project Management skills
• Keep the project team focused, ensure internal communication and maintain a good and motivating atmosphere.
• You have strong knowledge of production methods
• Comply with organizational procedures and processes
• You are independent, flexible, result orientated and feels highly responsible.
• You have a good understanding of MS Office
• You have a good understanding of the English language
