Project Engineer /System Engineer
Location: Łódź
Project Engineer / System Engineer will join newly created team and will cooperate with the Avionic Systems Team in Germany and France. This is a wide and varied role that crosses many of the company’s activities (software & hardware specification & development, testing, certification). It will enable you to be responsible for defining the top level specification of the system and breaking it down to identify requirements for internal and external suppliers. You will cooperate and follow-up the development of the equipment, support the testing and verification activities and prepare the documentation for the certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Engineering and integration of subsystems for helicopters (e.g.: Traffic Collision avoidance systems, HTAWS, Automatic Identification System, ADS-B, Weather Radar or similar)
- Acting as functional and system design responsible (FDR / SDR)
- Interfacing with project management and purchasing of the different helicopter programs
- Interfacing with suppliers and customers
- Ensuring planning at equipment level for development and qualification
- Participating in offer management
- Ensuring the qualification / certification of equipment and the expected functionality
- Supporting rig, ground and flight testing of the system
- In case of necessity, participation in research projects and market studies in this field
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- At least BSc degree in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Proficiency in English. Knowledge of French or German would be beneficial
- Work experience with Systems development and/or Systems integration is a plus
- Knowledge in the area of avionic systems in general is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
