Start-up new global engineering center, Katowice, control systems.
For our Client - international manufacturing company from automotive sector opening new global Engineering Center in Katowice - we are looking for: Project engineer – control systems.
Working on this position you will be a part of the team responsible for global engineering projects within the company. Your duties will include design and implementation of control systems for glass production, glass fabrication, and utility support systems including. You will work with Global, Regional, and Facility team to develop project scopes, budgets, functional descriptions and schedules to effectively implement control systems to support business and innovation needs.
Project engineer will be responsible for managing technical and commercial aspects related to assigned portion of projects, implementation of basic and advanced process control strategies, preparation RFQs, contractor analysis and selection, contractor and contract management including claim management and Site supervision and coordination as well as contractor management during the implementation phase.
To be successful on this position you need to have at least 5 years of experience on relevant position, experience with Control Systems Engineering and degree in electrical or automatic control engineering. You also need to possess higher technical education, communicate fluently in English and be open to frequent travels around the world (likely ~30%). We are looking for Candidates with very good interpersonal skills, ability to work both individually and as a part of the team, oriented on compliance and development.
