PROJECT BUYER
to join our expanding team.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducting contract negotiations targeting best TCO (total cost of ownership)
- Serve the local pipe reconstruction project needs of services, assets and materials
- Create, convert and release purchase orders and contracts based on SAP
- Analyze material requirements and resolve conflicts directly with suppliers on a timely manner
- Editing purchase orders and quantity contracts
- Work closely both with local operations and HQ in order to understand internal and external requirements and local circumstances
- Search, evaluate and select local suppliers for all possible materials are used either directly or indirectly for the production
- Increase the supplier performance (late delivery date to improve) and flexibility as well as to minimize the related unit and logistics costs, in order to meet dynamic market demand and increase the competitiveness of the company’s product portfolio
- Handling supplier non-conformities in close cooperation with quality department
- Monitor and identify upcoming conflicts and work out solutions with suppliers in order to ensure on time arrival of ordered raw material
- Build and operate a regular supplier evaluation system to keep supplier performance under control
Expectations towards the applicant:
- Ca. 3 years’ experience in sourcing/procurement
- Technical University or college degree
- Fluent English and Polish language knowledge, (hungarian optional)
- Analytical mind-set, proactive-thinking
- High level IT knowledge (Office, SAP)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
