Project Accounting and Controlling Manager
This role will lead the EMEA Financial Business Support Team supporting few EMEA countries in respect of
Project Accounting and Order Administration activities as well as perform standard to complex project
accounting/controlling tasks, prepare, analyse and summarize project-related information, as well as assist and
support the country management team.

Description
* Lead the EMEA Accounting and Order Administration Teams
* Oversee accounting and revenue recognition processes for all types of projects (incl. SaaS)
* Ensure that all team members and other personnel are involved at work according to agreed standards and
workflows
* Financial ownership of the implementation projects through the entire life-cycle of projects run in EMEA
region
* Monitor and review of the project's financial performance and status with the Project and Country Managers on a regular basis
* Supervise the project accounting, revenue recognition, and contract administration processes
* Optimize existing and introduce new project accounting and order administration workflows and standards,
in a way to digitalize and automatize the process as well as possible
* Cooperate with the financial auditors
* Participate in the process of reviewing proposals/contract analysis for financial risks
* Work directly with Project Managers and others to ensure that the financial impact of contract changes is
known and communicated timely
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Required (minimum), advanced degree and/or certification (ACCA, CIMA) is a plus
- Min. 7years of the related job experience
- Overall knowledge of general accounting is mandatory
- Experience with process transition
- Leadership experience of larger teams, preferably in an SSC/BPO environment
skills - Previous Project Accounting, Contract knowledge, and/or Microsoft Great Plains knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of POC (Percent of Completion) and revenue recognition policies according to IFRS 15
required - Proven records of successful process transformation/ productivity improvements.
- Strong English speaking and writing capability
- Strong analytical skills (MS Excel fluency)
- Strong verbal and written communication
