For our Client - international company in Gliwice (greenfield), we are looking for Production Planning Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Operations Planning (forecasting) Execution
- Ensure the Weekly Planning, Scheduling activities align to the Monthly S&OP plan
- To oversee the Planning process from the point of MRP through to Finite Scheduling.
- Execute important S&OP plans, such as line validations, intersite / intrasite transfers, Toll supply.
- Managing Weekly Planning Team Performance, monitor and take actions from the agreed Weekly Planning KPIs
- Investigate and capture causes of performance issues. Engage the team in problem resolution.
- Use Continuous Improvement concepts to tackle performance issues.
- Ensuring the Planning Team provides timely and accurate Production Plans to Production, with the best balance of efficiency, customer supply whilst minimising plan variation.
- Support team to achieve objectives, to their development and progression.
- Encourage the team to consider LEAN approaches to minimising workload, improving efficiency, and improving the central processes.
We expect:
- Good working knowledge of planning and demand management, especially in Production Planning
- A Good understanding of ECT stock control procedures
- Knowledge/ experience of using of LEAN and Best Practise principles
- Confident in articulating problems/solutions and influencing/achieving “Buy-In”.
- A sound understanding of LEAN, Best Practise, and Continuous Improvement concepts and proof of applying these.
- Demonstrable IT skills using relevant technical software packages as well as Microsoft Office
- Fluent level of written and spoken Polish and English
