THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Waals-Brabant Belgium.
The company is a medium sized organisation within the food industry which operates on an international level.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the production engineer you are part of the engineering team dealing with ensuring the day-to-day availability of the production and packaging/filling equipment.
Furthermore, you act as the main contact person between the company and its external stakeholders regarding engineering related topics.
In addition to the daily operations, you will also participate in engineering projects such as equipment replacement and possible expansion projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring availability of production equipment
- Adherence to both industry and company standards
- Main contact person for external stakeholders regarding engineering
- Participate in the continuous improvement
- Close collaboration with Production and Maintenance departments
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in the food industry
- Fluent in Dutch & English
- Familiarity with small engineering projects
