The Company

Our client is a global high-technological market leader in medical devices for ophthalmologic purposes. Their products improve the effectiveness of eye surgeons, specialists and doctors to diagnose and treat eye diseases. Their use of advanced technology make them a very respected company throughout the world.

Role Description

As a product sales representative, you will be responsible for the region of Antwerp and East Flanders. It is the sales representative's role to actively approach existing and potential clients, and negotiate about the products you are trying to sell. You will assist your clients in the operating rooms, and train them to use the products as intended.

Responsibilities

Your main task will be to interact with your clients on a daily basis and keep them satisfied
Your clients will be hospitals, private clinics and big ophthalmologic centres
Continuously monitor the market for new trends and prospects
Stay up-to-date with ophthalmologic and optic technology
Assist specialists during surgical procedures
Meet the annual sales targets, in line with the sales strategy

Requirements

You have a bachelor or master degree, preferably in a relevant field
You have at least 3 years of experience in a sales environment in OR's, with a proven track record
You speak fluent Dutch and English
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
You are commercially driven and ambitious
