Product Owner

Location: Remote Poland
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
  • Function played: Deputy Chief Product Owner
  • Act as a bridge to translate Chief Product Owner's / business stakeholders' feedback into prescriptive instructions that can be executed on
  • Set up governance framework to improve transparency on squad accountabilities (e.g. empowerment vs. CPO decisions) and track progress / development of key squad members
  • Instil culture where business communication / engagement is second nature - send out regular updates / broadcast biggest wins
  • Create a culture where squad focuses on biggest business outcomes. Challenge people to value their time. Enforce product owners to properly document business benefits and track against KPIs

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • experience in financial institution or providing services to one,
  • adept in Agile and would be able to share best practices based on their own experiences.

SKILLS

MUST

Requirements Must Have

Up to 7-9 years of relevant experience combined in PMO function, business analysis function & project management function

Project management (5 to 7 years exposure)

  • Banking experience or experience in financial institution or providing services to one,
  • Has a business angle rather than technical,
  • Ability to work proactively, independently when necessary and displays strong initiative
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to end users and stakeholders, with a very good standard of English (written and spoken)
  • Practitioner in Agile as Product Owner: stories definition, maximize the value produced by the team, backlog prioritization, end users and stakeholders management
  • Experience in working in multicultural teams
  • Adept in Agile and would be able to share best practices based on their own experiences

Preferred

  • Exposure to user centered design
  • Displays personal authority, integrity and ethics
  • Exposure to business architecture principles and methods
