As a Product Owner you will work within the Agile engineering teams to deliver on the product vision for technology that handles the PCI compliance process for millions of merchants each year. This is the core of our business. You’ll help drive the development of the next generation of our products that merchants and their acquiring banks depend on to keep their payments safe and compliant with the PCI standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: High quality requirements (functional & non-functional) and user stories that are fit for purpose for development. Assist the business stakeholders in prioritising business requirements; clear, concise and unambiguous acceptance criteria for each Product Backlog Item (PBI); a well organised product and team backlog, constantly refined and prioritised; clear communication to the team and other project stakeholders; client engagement and client facing documentation as required.
REQUIREMENTS:Real world experience of working as a dedicated Product Owner or Business Analyst within Agile engineering teams; at least 2 years’ experience as a Lead Business Analyst/Practice Lead; experienced of working in a commercial software product development company; a strong knowledge of Agile methodologies e.g. Scrum, SAFe; expertise in analysis techniques and requirements gathering and definition in an Agile environment; Degree/Masters level qualification in Technology or related discipline advantageous
