Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
Our client is a global food player who serves their clients delicious food products.
As the Product Line Manager you are responsible for the client’s portfolio positioning and profitability on the longer term. You are also responsible for optimal capacity utilization and margin captures for the client’s products.
You are directly responsible for the assets located in the EMEA region and provide price targets for the Sales department. You will travel globally 10% of your time. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Set the product line strategy for 5 years, for example product line aspirations, critical capabilities and leading this process
-Translating the results of S&OP cycles into a proper demand plan and financially drive plans in coordinance with the business unit financial manager and sales management.
-Strategic pricing to ensure optimal profitability of the specific product line
-Support developments and implementation of asset strategies from a margin perspective
-Establish and coordinate allocation plans and the execution of it in case of shortage
-Participate in lead critical projects and leadership in regional and group strategies
-University Degree and or MBA
-Minimum of 10 years in a sales or marketing position and 5 years in a senior level position
-Knowledge of merchandising food ingredients
-Capable of analyzing problems on a high level, pro-active and structured
-Experienced in budgeting, planning and developing business strategies
-Good communication and presentation skills
