For our Client, an international company from Automotive industry, we are currently searching for a passionate Engineer, who will join its structure at the position of Product Engineer in R&D department dedicated to their production plant in Åšwidnica.
Responsibilities:
- Plans engineering activities and manage APQP requirements for product engineering
- Completes and documents engineering disciplines per product development process, such as: design reviews, design tolerance dimensional stack analysis, DFMEA, change control documentation, agree / disagree documentation, Electronic project books, open issues / action plans to address performance concerns
- Creates and releases Bills of Materials
- Creates and releases prototype and production drawings
- Perform engineering calculations manually or with analytical tools
- Organises, coordinates, and executes benchmark analysis.
- Initiates and interprets Finite Element Analysis (FEA) results
- Estimates and tracks engineering development costs
- Develop and maintain analytical and test product validation plans (DVP&R)
- Completes design proposals, concepts, and mark-up drawings in response to customer requests
- Develops, validates, and implements cost reduction initiatives and proposals
- Monitors and supports problem solving, action plans and responses to customer satisfaction, PPM defects, and warranty issues
- Completes benchmark activities as required to support ongoing process and product improvement activities Collaborates with the Purchasing function and participates in supplier visits, selection, and capabilities assessment.
Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical, depending on focus of position)
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a Product or Project Engineering position (e.g. design and release responsibility)
- Work experience in the automotive industry highly desired - driveline background preferred.
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) skills highly desired S
- elf-starter with strong written and oral communication skills
- English written / verbal communication skills required
- Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook etc.) required
- CAD system knowledge (PRO-E, CATIA V5, UG, ETC…) preferred
