Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
As a producer of snack foods, this company strives to offer convenient and healthy foods to its clients. You share this mindset as your job will be to innovate ready-to-eat products, making them as attractive and modern as possible. The R&D team is expanding and the company just invested in new production plants, allowing you to work with state of the art technology.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The position is medior, suitable for someone with several years of R&D experience who is ready to make it as a freelancer. You will be innovating food products, developing them. For this, you are creative, able to explain your ideas to the others in the team and you're willing to follow through. Since the team is relatively small, you will be involved in the product development from start to finish. With your passion for improvement, you ensure a high quality and transfer you ideas from a lab trial to the industrial scale. The timespan is 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• actively developing new products
• performing laboratory tests
• setting product specifications for new ranges
• keeping in touch with internal and external stakeholders
• doing your own project administration • keeping appointments, punctuality is key
• sampling new products
• sampling new raw materials
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum a Bachelor in Food Technology
• Fluent Dutch and English are both a hard must
• Passion for food, snacks, fun
• Independent worker, experienced
• Curious, open personality, eager to learn
• Practical, hands-on approach, a real problem-solver
