For our Client - international manufacturing company based near Zawiercie, we are looking for candidates for Product Design Engineer position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for detailed product design under consideration of technical risk and customer technical requirements.
- Communicates the detailed design (eg: component list, drawings, validation results) to the project team
- Organises and leads the design review and is responsible for the final output
- Is responsible for the product verification and validation process as required to satisfy the customer demands and reduce risk. This includes: - responsibility for the content and output of the D-FMEA, responsibility for the content and output of the DVP for testing and calculation- ensuring that the necessary technical calculations are completed- initiating and monitoring the required tests
- Can initiate the prototype process for internal research and/or for customer and internal testing
- Responsible for all aspects of quotation and manufacturing drawings
- Actively participate in project teams
- Follows the APQP actively
- Develops and maintains the design guide lines, as well as carrying out product training
EXPECTATIONS:
- Education in mechanical engineering, material science on similar
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience gained on similar position
- Experience in designing plastic components
- Knowledge of English language on minimum B2 level
- Familiar with APQP and DFMEA
