Procurement Team Leader (Market Data)
Lokalizacja: WrocławFor one of our Client, who is a leading financial services company, we are actively looking for Procurement Team Leader, Market Data Services.
The Sourcing & Vendor Management (SVM) department is responsible for the bank's global sourcing and procurement activities. SVM optimally sources external goods and services for the Client by applying best practices while mitigating key commercial, contractual reputational risks to the Bank.
This dynamic role is accountable for leading the Procurement Market Data Services team, managing all applicable commercial and contractual aspects within the Market Data Services category globally. The role includes driving supply-side initiatives/projects related to Market Data Services and developing/maintaining successful relationships with suppliers, peers, and internal stakeholders on a global basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- You gain support and acceptance by demonstrating sourcing value to respective initiatives at senior levels within SVM; C-level independent interaction required
- You coordinate execution of successful Market Data Services vendor contract negotiations; Manage an ambitious book of work and assure quality and effectiveness on individual and team level
- You develop credibility and operate as a team leader and subject matter expert for Market Data Services and become the first point of contact for internal partners with respect to Procurement Market Data Services
- You build effective and cooperative alliances externally with key vendors and manage directly those vendor relationships from a commercial perspective; ensure agreement and adoption of Market Data Services sub-category strategies, ongoing review of activities undertaken and maintenance of strong client service
- You represent Market Data Services category and support others in the broader procurement category team, take full ownership of designated sub-categories; conduct periodic market research for assigned Market Data Services sub-categories
Qualifications:
- You have minimum 5 years’ experience in IT sourcing/procurement or in a specific market data services environment
- You demonstrate min. 3 years of people management experience and you are able to coach, provide support, develop talent, empower/inspire high performance from team, foster a collegial team culture
- You have experience in leading E2E sourcing projects on regional/global level(IT products/services) and in negotiating contracts(commercials aspects - must have, legal aspect- nice to have)
- You possess strong negotiation and influencing skills
- You are experienced working within strong compliance and regulatory culture, driving policies and procedures, both internally and externally
- You have strong communications (verbal & written) and presentation skills, including experience using Excel and PowerPoint to support analytical techniques and presentation of data
- You are fluent in English; German will be an advantage
- You are proactive and highly motivated self starter with hands-on approach
