Procurement Specialist (m/f)
We are looking for high potential Procurement Specialist.
Client Details
Our Client is an industrial equipment, international manufacturing company located in Lesser Poland district. Due to a rapid growth and a need to strengthen personnel we are searching for high potential person for Procurement Specialist position.
Description
A person hired on this position will be responsible for:
- Transition of purchasing processes (Europe) Purchasing process optimisation
- Taking active part in Change Management process
- Creation and management of supplier's panel in every area of the company's activities
- Creation of orders and contracts
- Verification and acceptance of each material demand in terms of its completeness, selection of reliable sources of supply, if necessary sending inquiries and the assessment of complex price quotes and the final choice of supplier
- Negotiations with suppliers
- Placing reorders in case of returning goods to the supplier
- Maintaining contacts with other departments within the company and the group
- Planning and forecasting the demand and purchasing
- Timely supply of materials for production
- Cost optimisation
- Cyclical establishing, maintaining and monitoring the optimal stock levels
- Updating the SAP system regarding ordering materials, new reference numbers related to indirect materials, supplier base
- Analysis of data concerning materials, prices, suppliers, markets
- Preparation of reports required by the organisation, group and regulations
- Care and supervision to entrusted property
- Periodic assessment and verification of suppliers
Profile
- Higher education (economical or technical)
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the purchasing department preferably at manufacturing company
- Experience in purchasing process transition will be a plus
- Very good English (German will be an advantage)
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, self-driven individual, open for learning new skills and knowledge
- Very good team player
- Open for frequent business travels
